Opening Shark Diving International in March 2005. Lawrence and his dedicated team of professional divers undertook several months of careful research
and made several exploration expeditions all over the world locating the top shark diving destinations around the globe. We developed personal
relationships with local operators and located the finest vessels and resorts to offer our clients at each new destination. We also determined when the
best time period was to visit each location to ensure the best possible encounter with the particular species found at that particular destination.
Our goal is simple, to provide you the best Shark Diving experience in the world.
Shark Diving International now offers 8 destinations world wide and over 12 species of sharks including the top 5 "Marquis Species", White shark,
Whale shark,Tiger shark, Great Hammerhead, and Bull shark.
Over 4,000 people have discovered the exciting sport of shark diving with Great White Adventures and Shark Diving International. We are also
very proud to say that after over 1000 days of diving operations we still maintain our 100%safety record.
With Shark Diving International you can be sure that will experience the safest and most exciting shark diving experience possible anywhere in the world.

Scott Davis, Divemaster.
Scott Davis is our onboard Shark Naturalist and Divemaster. As a wildlife researcher, NAUI Master Diver and PADI Divemaster, Scott has had the opportunity to
dive all around the world but considers Guadalupe Island the prime world destination for viewing white sharks. His current graduate research work involves
the behavior and movement patterns of White Sharks off the North American coast.
In addition to being a National Geographic Society grantee, his research
along with fellow researchers led to the ground-breaking discovery - highlighted in the prestigious scientific journal NATURE - that satellite-tagged White
Sharks off the western North American coast spend a great deal of their time in pelagic waters, traveling as far as Hawaii and back.

Jim Hegeman, Divemaster.
Jim grew up on the beaches of Santa Barbara where he was introduced to the underwater world at a young age. His father was a commercial diver who had worked
with Jacques Cousteau and Valerie Taylor studying different shark behaviors in the Pacific. Free diving and SCUBA diving most of his life, Jim finally joined
the Navy and traveled the world as a Navy deep-sea diver. After leaving the military Jim continued a career as a commercial diver, once again taking him to
many different countries to work. Jim has turned his interest and experience of the ocean and marine life to helping others enjoy the awesome creatures below,
namely sharks.
We at Shark Diving International promote
conservation and protection of the marine environment while providing you with a rewarding and educational experience.
We believe that education and enjoyment of our environment is the key to its protection. We hope you will come away from your adventure with a new found
respect and appreciation of the ocean and all of its inhabitants.
